Writing in Consultancy.eu, Wouter Huygen, CEO of Rewire, calls this the AI diffusion gap and argues that closing it means redesigning how the organisation runs. Executives should ask how they would build a process if AI were there from the start, then let intelligent systems handle the information gathering, coordination and execution while people focus on judgement. His advice is to start with one important end-to-end process, lay the data and governance foundations, and scale from there. Start small, he says, but think radically.
