What Dutch companies can learn from Palantir

Amsterdam, 22 May 2026. In this article published on Dutchcowboys, Rewire's Job van Zijl uses Palantir as a lens to explain what it means to connect business data to AI in a way that enables autonomous action rather than mere analysis. The key is ontology: a shared data language that maps entities, their properties, and their relationships, allowing AI systems not only to detect patterns but to act on them and learn from the results. Van Zijl argues that organisations do not need Palantir to achieve this: the real shift is conceptual, moving from incremental process improvement to building AI-native organisations from the ground up.
