The real opportunity, he contends, lies in agentic AI systems that automate entire end-to-end processes \u2014 from supply chain management to insurance claims \u2014 reducing the need for organisational silos and repositioning employees as supervisors rather than operators. This logic extends further into platform-driven disruption, where AI-powered systems consolidate fragmented sectors, illustrated by Ant Financial&#8217;s transformation of access to financial services in China. Rewire is already applying this model in pharmaceuticals, helping a pharmacy chain automate core processes in a way that could eventually be commercialised as a standalone platform.
